Diploma in General Nursing & MidwiferyAims:

Certificate in Community HealthAims: To improve the knowledge, skill & competency of Registered nurse for providing & strengthening Primary Health Care services at periphery level
a) To enhance knowledge & skill of learners in providing Community Health Care Services.
b) To develop competency in dealing with issues of Public Health.
c) To provide comprehensive based care as per protocol, appropriate to sub centre level.
d) To perform preventive & curative actions for improving community health.
e) To perform common laboratory investigations
Affiliation: The Course is affiliated to Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), newly launched project by Government of India collaboration with State Government.
Academic Session: The course will be commenced both in January & July of academic session.
Admission / Selection Procedure: The eligibility criteria of a candidate will be State Govt. Sponsorship.
Target Group: Registered Nurse & Registered Midwifery Nurse having two years post qualification experience.
Essential Educational Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing.
Age of admission: As per Govt. of India norms.
Duration: 6 month, full term residential course.

Number of seat: 30 Seats per programme study centre.
Programme Fee: Rs. 15,000 per student /cycle (subjected to change).
